Talbina is a nutritious porridge made by slow cooking barley grains/flour with milk and sweetening it with dates or honey. It offers many health benefits and is a great substitute for sugary milk drinks or cereals. It is a good source of Protein, Iron, Vitamin B, Zinc and Magnesium. Add 1 teaspoon talbina mix in 250ml of water or milk (I prefer to do half Water half Milk). Heat till it boils stirring continuously. Add Honey to taste. Enjoy your healthy and delicious Talbina. You can also add other spices if you wish to. Talbina
