League of Legends Lecture is designed to help students think critically and analytically about the game through several lenses: gameplay, eSports, psychology, and video game design. Through a series of weekly homework assignments, students will learn to ask research questions, use data analysis tools to answer those questions, and apply their findings to improve their own gameplay.

Students will also develop an understanding of discrete linear optimization systems and apply these techniques to an original question within the game. Additionally, they will study the competitive scene and learn how to analyze and improve their own play styles based on international trends.

Unlike most other games, League of Legends is a massive time sink that can easily take up an entire day for the average player. However, it is still a fun and engaging way to pass the time and blow off steam.

In this chapter, we will cover the fundamentals of the League of Legends champion & item system. Items are a huge part of the game and can massively boost your champion’s power. The choice of items is one of the most important decisions you can make in a match, and the optimal item builds are changing all the time.

By its design, League of Legends is a conflict-inducing game. Even when players are not in direct conflict, the game creates tense moments that can escalate into full-on fights. This conflict is at the heart of much of the toxic behavior the game has become known for. 롤대리
