Minimalist Baby Registry
When you’re expecting a new baby, well-meaning gift givers often shower you with the latest must-have gadgets. But these baby products can quickly fill up your space, creating a feeling of clutter and overwhelm. That’s why it’s important to filter out the items you’ll actually use from those that will just end up in your donation pile.

A minimalist baby registry includes only the essentials. Here are some items to consider adding to your list:

Infant formula – it’s best to add a few different brands of 4 oz and 8 oz bottles to your registry, and then wait to see which ones you and your baby like the best. Most infants feed 8-12 times in a day, so you will likely need a lot of formula.

Bottle warmer – this is one of the most useful items in your baby gear arsenal! It helps warm up cold formula to the right temperature, so you’re never stuck with frozen milk.

Blankets – you will definitely need lots of blankets, but I wouldn’t register for them because people love giving these as gifts. Instead, try asking for a few large, soft fleece blankets to keep in your nursery or baby’s room.

Minimalist parents-to-be also look for baby items that grow with your child or are multi-functional. This way, you’ll get the most use out of them during your baby’s first year.
