In the era of modern art, abstract designs have become increasingly popular. Among them, two captivating pieces by artist and entrepreneur Steve Stratis have captured the attention of viewers and transcended traditional boundaries of representation. During the recent Blue Art Exhibition held at the Artist Space Gallery, his mesmerizing sculptures ‘Liquescent’ and ‘Tides of Blu’ stood out as Best of Show winners.

Born in Scarborough, Ontario, Stratis was the daughter of Greek immigrants. Her family ran a small diner, and she took on many of the responsibilities that come with running such an establishment. She later attended university to pursue a career in nursing, but was forced to leave the program due to lack of funding. Despite this setback, she would go on to achieve much success as an artist and entrepreneur.

In addition to her work as a professional wrestler, Stratus has also appeared on various television shows and was involved in charity work. She is a former owner of a yoga studio and has also hosted several awards shows. She is currently a judge on Canada’s Got Talent.

Stratus has competed in several WWE pay-per-view events. At WrestleMania XXVII, she lost a singles match to Vickie Guerrero after LayCool (Layla and Michelle McCool) interfered in the match. The following night on Raw, Stratus defeated Guerrero and Dolph Ziggler in a tag team match after John Morrison came to her aid.

On the October 8 episode of Raw, Stratus cut a promo about her feud with new Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss. After a back-and-forth exchange, Bliss challenged Stratus to a tag match at Evolution with herself and Mickie James. Stratus accepted the challenge, and Bliss would go on to rename her partner for the event as Lita.

At the same time, Stratus was involved in numerous sexually themed storylines. On one occasion, she was attacked by a group of men and almost chokeslammed onto the stage. She was saved by her short-lived alliance with Viscera, who ordered the attackers to leave her alone.

In the years since her retirement from the ring, Stratus has continued to make sporadic appearances in the wrestling world. In 2018, she returned to her role as the WWE Hardcore Diva, and has participated in the first-ever all-female Royal Rumble and SummerSlam events. She is a four-time Raw Women’s Champion and has also won the Intercontinental Championship once. Stratus has also competed in a number of mixed six-person tag team matches, including one with her husband Jazz at the 2014 SummerSlam event. She currently resides in Armonk, New York with her husband and children. steve stratis
